    • Water Demand Forecasting: Conducting studies to predict future water demand based on population growth and land-use trends.

Key services we provide include:
    • Sewers and Drains: Designing and installing networks of underground pipes that collect wastewater from homes, businesses, and industrial sites.

    • Pumping Stations: Creating systems that move wastewater from lower to higher elevations when gravity flow is insufficient.

    • Primary Treatment: Removing large solids and sediment from wastewater through screening and settling processes.

    • Secondary Treatment: Using biological processes to degrade organic matter, often through activated sludge systems or biological filters.

    • Tertiary Treatment: Advanced treatment to remove nutrients (like nitrogen and phosphorus) and other contaminants to meet environmental standards.

    • Sludge Management: Treating the sludge (solid waste byproduct) from the treatment process for safe disposal or reuse.

    • System Rehabilitation: Repairing or upgrading aging infrastructure to prevent leaks, blockages, and failures in wastewater collection and treatment systems.

    • Monitoring and Maintenance: Providing ongoing inspections and maintenance of wastewater systems to ensure efficient, safe operation.

    • Recycled Water Systems: Designing systems for treating and reusing wastewater for non-potable purposes (e.g., irrigation, industrial cooling).

Roadway, Street Design, and Drainage Improvements

Civil engineering services for transportation and street design involve planning, design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure that facilitates the safe, efficient, and sustainable movement of people, vehicles, and goods. These networks are important components for stormwater management and reducing flooding risks.

Key services we provide include:
    • Street Layout and Planning: Developing the layout of road networks, ensuring connectivity between residential, commercial, and industrial areas. This involves careful consideration of traffic flow, land use, and future growth.

    • Geometric Design: Designing intersections, roundabouts, and medians to minimize traffic accidents and optimize traffic flow.

    • Pavement Design: Selecting appropriate materials (e.g., asphalt, concrete) and pavement structures based on factors like traffic load, soil conditions, and climate. The goal is to create durable, cost-effective roads that require minimal maintenance.

    • Complete Streets Design: Designing streets that accommodate all users—pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, and public transit. This includes features like bike lanes, sidewalks, bus lanes, and safe crossings.

    • Traffic Analysis: Analyzing current and projected traffic volumes, prioritizing roads based on use, and minimizing congestion.

    • Road Drainage Systems: Designing drainage infrastructure, such as curbs, gutters, and storm drains, to prevent water accumulation on roads and streets, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and pavement deterioration, managing runoff and reducing flooding.

    • Flood Control for Roads: Planning and designing roads in flood-prone areas to prevent disruptions due to water accumulation or damage. This might involve elevated roadways, culverts, and retention basins.  This may also include designing systems that control the quality and quantity of water runoff to reduce flooding, erosion, and water pollution.

Planning

Engineering services related to planning include asset management and technical reports for detailed analysis, resource allocation, and sustainability.

Planning is a critical phase in any engineering project and involves strategic foresight, technical expertise, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Engineering planning services aim to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, sustainably, and within regulatory frameworks.
